Broker Reciprocity is a program where brokers give each other permission to display their listings on each other’s websites. Participating brokers can display all active listings of other members in the program. This means that as a buyer or seller working with a member broker, you have access to all of the listings currently active on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) through whichever broker you choose.
The real estate market is competitive plus the business is unique in that competitors must also cooperate with each other to ensure successful transactions. MLS systems facilitate that cooperation.
